Women Build is a national initiative to engage women in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing. Locally, YOU can make an impact! Women Build is a fundraising AND build event that transforms lives in our community.

Families all across the United States are paying too high a price to cover the cost of a home. Rents and homeownership costs are skyrocketing, while wages are not keeping pace. Women Build recruits, educates, and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent, and affordable housing.

Women Build empowers you to make a difference where you live. Together, we can build homes, communities, and better futures for local families.

Beginning in March, individuals and teams will work towards their fundraising goals to build, repair, and restore homes and hope. In May, Women Builders will volunteer alongside one another to transform raw materials into homes! Those who’ve raised $1,500+ will be inducted into the not-so-secret society, the Sisterhood of the Pink Hard Hats!
