Every Woman Can Make An Impact
Women Build is a national initiative to engage women in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing. Locally, YOU can make an impact! Women Build is a fundraising AND build event that transforms lives in our community.
Families all across the United States are paying too high a price to cover the cost of home. Rents and homeownership costs are skyrocketing, while wages are not keeping pace. Women Build recruits, educates, and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent, and affordable housing.
Join the Movement
Women Build empowers you to make a difference where you live. Together, we can build homes, communities, and better futures for local families.
Beginning in March, individuals and teams will work towards their fundraising goals to build, repair, and restore homes and hope. In May, Women Builders will volunteer alongside one another to transform raw materials into homes! Those who’ve reached a $1,000+ funds raised will be inducted into the Sisterhood of the Pink Hard Hats!
Harness the power of female collaboration and leadership! Invite friends, family, and co-workers to fundraise and build alongside you. Teams work together to set and achieve a collective fundraising goal, then volunteer on the Women Build construction site.
No team? No problem! Register as an individual fundraiser, set your personal goal, and we’ll pair you up with other Women Builders. Connect with your community and meet new friends on your volunteer day!
Engage your company or team in local and life-changing impact.
Everyone can make a difference
Women Build is an inclusive event and every person is invited to build lasting change. Whether you’re a construction pro or hoping to learn a new skill, there is a job for every level.
- Gather friends to host a Fundraising Event (Girl’s Night Out!)
- Host a Facebook or Virtual Fundraiser (Girl’s Night In!)
- Volunteer at the Women Build site this May!
….and much, much more!
Every donation makes a difference and no donation is too small. You can help build a future where everyone has a place to call home!

We are continuing to monitor state recommendations in regards to in-person gatherings. Please note that listed events may be subject to change, held virtually, or re-located to an outdoor venue. Volunteer engagement is scheduled to begin in May with the benefit of outdoor, open-spaced construction and group restrictions to one Women Build team per volunteer shift.
