Jingle Build-Off is Back — and We Want You on the Build Team!
Each December, Habitat Lake-Sumter brings together teams from across our community to dream up, design, and decorate the most magical playhouses you can imagine. These pint-sized playhouses are gifted to local children — sparking joy for families — while raising funds that support Habitat’s mission of building safe, affordable homes. It’s a tradition that brings holiday spirit and real impact, all wrapped up in one, and we’d love for you and your team to join us for this year’s event!
Why Build a Playhouse with Your Team?
Jingle Build-Off is about building connections, showing your creativity, and making a tangible difference. There’s a little something for everyone during Jingle Build-Off, so you can find a way to engage that works best for you and your team!

Build a Playhouse: Join us for the “Build-Off” part of Jingle Build-Off, and form a team of Jingle Builders! You will be paired with a family to design and build for. Your team will have the option to build off-site at a location of your choice beginning in October, or on site on December 4th from 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as part of our Media Preview Day in Tavares. Then join us for the big reveal during the first weekend of December, where your family will see their playhouse for the first time!

Sponsor a Youth Team: Want in on the fun, but aren’t up for construction? Consider sponsoring a Youth Build! Your organization or business will be featured just like a typical team of Jingle Builders, and you’ll be sponsoring a team of middle to high school students to complete the construction and design of the playhouse.

Let the Voting Begin!
The excitement continues after the sawdust settles — because the competition heats up when voting runs the second week of December! Each dollar cast is a vote for your favorite playhouse, and every dollar raised goes straight into building affordable housing in Lake and Sumter Counties. Rally your coworkers, friends, and family to help crown your team as the Fan-Favorite Champion!
