Driving Community Forward: Vann Gannaway Chevrolet Sponsors Two Habitat Homes
At Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter, we know it takes a whole community to build strength, stability, and hope. Thanks to the generosity of Vann Gannaway Chevrolet, not just one — but two families are on the path to their forever homes.
This fall, a new homeowner will be closing on a Habitat home in the beautiful Cottages at Heritage Grove neighborhood. Around the same time, construction will begin on another Habitat home in the very same community, also made possible by Vann Gannaway Chevrolet’s sponsorship. That’s double the impact, double the joy, and two more families who will experience the security of an affordable mortgage and the pride of homeownership.
Vann Gannaway Chevrolet didn’t just invest in houses — they invested in families, a neighborhood, and the future of our community. For years, they’ve been more than a dealership; they’ve been a trusted neighbor and a true pillar in Lake and Sumter Counties, showing what it means to support families where it matters most.
“We’re excited to highlight our commitment to our community through this partnership,” says Chip Gannaway, President of Vann Gannaway Chevrolet. “Our business is centered around family, and we know how important stable housing is for families in our area. We’re thrilled to have a hand in helping provide that kind of resource for a family in Lake County, and we hope our involvement encourages other individuals and businesses to take action and support housing solutions like this.”
The Cottages at Heritage Grove neighborhood will feature 23 affordable housing units, featuring cozy homes with welcoming front porches overlooking the community green space. The neighborhood also features 3 triplex units, the first of their kind from Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter. None of this would be possible without dedicated partnerships like Vann Gannaway Chevrolet.
From all of us at Habitat Lake-Sumter, thank you, Vann Gannaway Chevrolet, for helping families take these life-changing steps. Together, we’re not just building houses — we’re building hope.
