Women Build kickoff in Tavares

Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter, in partnership with AgeWave Solutions, will have a Women Build pre-build celebration from 9 a.m. to noon May 3 at its new triplex construction project, 1318 Cottage Circle, Tavares. It is part of Habitat’s Tavares Cottages at Heritage Grove, a 55+ community. The event will include the raising of the first walls on the three affordable housing units.
