Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter has kicked off ‘Women Build’ an annual initiative that brings women together to raise funds and help build safe, affordable homes for families.
Registration is now open for individuals and teams ready to fundraise, volunteer, and make a lasting impact in the community.
‘Women Build’ empowers participants to take an active role in addressing the need for affordable housing across Lake and Sumter counties.
During the program’s dedicated fundraising period, teams work to raise critical funds to support the construction of a new Habitat home. Once fundraising concludes, participants are invited onto the build site to volunteer alongside Habitat staff and skilled crew leaders.
