Come celebrate with Habitat Lake-Sumter as we kick off a new year of hands-on learning, building and giving back with students from Eustis High School and Leesburg High School’s Youth Construction Academies!
We’ll be celebrating two Construction Kickoffs on two exciting mornings as these students get ready to put their skills to work and help build homes for local families.

Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, these students will gain real-world construction experience while working alongside Habitat and construction professionals. They’ll learn new skills, work with their hands and help build a home for a local family along the way.
We’re especially excited to have RoMac Building Supply sponsoring the Leesburg build and helping give these students the opportunity to learn from construction professionals while making a difference in their community.
This is what the Youth Construction Academy is all about: learning, building and creating a brighter future—one home at a time.
