This May, your support can go twice as far.
Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter is excited to share a $20,000 Match Challenge sponsored by RoMac Building Supply. Throughout the month, every donation made will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $20,000, helping expand opportunities for local students through our Youth Construction Academy.
This program partners with five local schools, including Leesburg High School, Eustis High School, South Lake High School, Wildwood Middle High School, and The Villages Charter School. Students gain hands-on experience by working alongside professionals on a Habitat home build, while also earning industry certifications that prepare them for careers in the construction field.
The Youth Construction Academy is more than a classroom experience. It gives students the chance to step onto a real job site, learn valuable trade skills, and see the direct impact of their work s as they help build a home for a local family.
Thanks to the generosity of RoMac Building Supply, your gift in May will have twice the impact. Their continued investment in this program helps ensure that students have access to meaningful career pathways while also supporting the construction of affordable housing in our community.
If you have been looking for a way to make a difference, this is the moment. Your donation supports both the next generation of skilled tradespeople and families working toward safe, affordable homeownership.
Make your gift before May 31 to have it matched and be part of building futures right here in Lake and Sumter Counties: https://habitatls.org/youth-construction-academy/
