Find Inspiration and Meet Habitat at the Lake-Sumter Parade of Homes

If you’re looking for ideas, inspiration, or a fresh perspective on home design and community living, the Lake‑Sumter Parade of Homes is right around the corner.

This annual event brings together some of the region’s most exciting home designs and showcases craftsmanship, innovation, and the possibilities available in Lake and Sumter Counties. It’s a chance to explore a wide variety of homes, experience the latest trends in design and layout, and discover ideas that might spark your own dream home vision.

We’re especially excited to invite you to tour a special Habitat for Humanity home at 1330 Cottage Circle in Tavares. This home is part of the Parade of Homes tour and is more than just a beautiful place to live — it represents what’s possible when community support, thoughtful design, and affordable homeownership come together.

During the Parade, Habitat staff and homeowners will be on site, and we would love for you to come by, say hello, and learn more about our programs. Whether you’re curious about how Habitat builds homes, want to hear firsthand about the homeownership journey, or simply want to see a Habitat home in person, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect.

The Parade of Homes runs from February 21 through March 1, 2026, with homes open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Sundays open at 12 p.m.) and free admission with a ticket.

Come tour the homes, gather ideas, and enjoy a celebration of what makes our local housing community so vibrant. And while you’re here, stop by 1330 Cottage Circle to learn more about Habitat for Humanity of Lake‑Sumter and how our mission is making safe, affordable homes a reality for local families.
